This September, We're Walking - Join Team GeoSmile 🐧

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, GeoSmile is doing something we've never done before: we're stepping outside the app.

We're joining the St. Jude Walk as Team GeoSmile — and you're invited to walk with us.

First, a thank you

Across five Steps for Hope campaigns, 31,012 of you have walked with us. Together, that's become $30,156 donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Every dollar of that came from us, not from you. And this September, we wanted to take one more step.

What is the St. Jude Walk?

It's a nationwide event held every September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Tens of thousands of people walk to support the kids of St. Jude.

There's no finish line to race for. No pace to keep. You just walk.

Why we're joining

Two ways to walk

Either way, you're still part of Team GeoSmile.

Walk virtually

Team GeoSmile is registered as a National Virtual team. On September 26, walk wherever you are — a nearby park, your commute, or just around the block. There's no venue to get to.

Walk at an event near you

In-person events are held in cities across the country, with music, activities, and plenty for families to enjoy.

Dates vary by city. Seattle and Dallas are September 19, New York is September 20, Chicago and Tampa are September 26, and Phoenix is October 3. Check what's happening in your area.

Joining is free

Registration for Team GeoSmile costs nothing.

When you join, you'll get your own St. Jude fundraising page to share with friends and family if you want to. But fundraising is entirely up to you — raise something, or raise nothing at all.

Walking is the whole point.

Any donations go directly to St. Jude, not through us. Participants who fundraise can also earn official St. Jude Walk gear.
